This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:

"1) Issue writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding respondent No. 1 to decide the Securitization Application No. 297/23 filed by the petitioners within a given time frame.

2) Issue writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding respondent No. 1 to decide the interim application praying to restrain the respondent No. 1 to auction the property in question in Securitization Application No.297/23 forthwith."

It is contended that Securitization Application No.297 of 2023 is pending consideration before Debt Recovery Tribunal, Allahabad. The sole prayer made in the writ petition is for expeditious disposal of the said application.

As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit or issuing notice to private respondents, with a direction upon Debt Recovery Tribunal, Allahabad to decide the Securitizaton Application No.297 of 2023, in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.

With the aforesaid direction, present writ petition stands disposed of.

It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the case on merit.
