Heard Sri Prashant Chandra, learned Senior Advocate assisted by Sri Anshuman Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Rahul Kapoor, learned Standing Counsel.
By means of this petition, the petitioner has prayed the following relief:-
"(a) issue a writ of mandamus or a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the Respondents to forthwith modify/alter the date of regularisation of the petitioners as 20.12.2001 and extend the same benefits as have been provided to identically circumstanced employees in view of the judgement and orders dated 27.01.2022 and 03.04.2024, which have since been approved by the Hon'ble Supreme Court vide its orders dated 27.09.2023 and 13.08.2024;
(b) issue a writ of mandamus or a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the Respondents to pay arrears of salary and all service and retiral benefits to the petitioners together with such interest as may have accrued thereon and to continue to abide by the law laid down in the judgement and orders dated 27.01.2022 and 03.04.2024 passed by this Hon'ble Court in Special Appeal No. 21 of 2022 and Special Appeal No. 56 of 2022 respectively"
The learned Senior Advocate has stated that since in the identical matters, the orders have been passed by the Court and authorities, therefore, the petitioner is seeking similar benefit which has been extended to the similarly placed employees.

A week's time thereafter is granted for filing rejoinder affidavit.
