Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State Counsel appearing on behalf of opposite parties no.1,2 and 3.

In view of order being proposed to be passed, notices to opposite party no.4 stand dispensed with.

Petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-

" Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding opposite party no.2 to provide the benefit of selection grade, promotional pay scale w.e.f. 1986 to 1991, benefit of 6th Pay Commission, arrears of differences of salary and arrears of salary of month of January, February and March 2016 after fixation of salary in 7th Pay Commission, Group Insurance and G.P.F. for 1996 to 2001 thereafter revise the pension. ............"

For the said grievance, petitioner has already submitted a representation dated 06.01.2024. At present learned counsel for petitioner restricts his prayer for a final decision with regard to same.

Considering innocuous prayer being made by learned counsel for petitioner and without entering into the merits of the case, opposite party No.2 i.e. District Basic Education Officer, Ambedkar Nagar is directed to consider and decide representation dated 06.01.2024 within a period of eight weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before said authority. Petitioner shall annex a copy of representation dated 06.01.2024 alongwith certified copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observation, petition stands disposed of .
