Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State.

The present writ petition has been preferred for issuing direction to the opposite parties to consider the case of the petitioner and grant increment which was temporarily been stopped since the year 2010 i.e. from the date when the services of the petitioner was terminated i.e. on 14.12.2010 whereas the petitioner was reinstated on 24.01.2011 and on 07.07.2014, his services have been regularized.

After arguing at some length, learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his prayer to the extent that the representation of the petitioner dated 08.11.2023 may be considered by respondent no. 4 i.e. District Panchayat Raj Officer, District Sultanpur, within a stipulated time frame, as this Court may deem fit and proper.

Learned Standing Counsel has no objection to the aforesaid prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner.

On the request of learned counsel for the petitioner and without entering into the merits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 4 i.e. District Panchayat Raj Officer, District Sultanpur to take a decision on the representation of the petitioner dated 08.11.2023 in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of production/receipt of certified copy of this order.
