The order declining maternity leave claimed by the petitioner is not supported with any reason. The order dated 19.11.2024 is vitiated by non application of mind. The grant of maternity leave is liable to be considered in light of the judgement of this Court in Smt. Anupam Yadav Vs. State of U.P. and 2 Others, Writ A No. 9535 of 2022 .
The order dated 19.11.2024 is liable to be quashed and is quashed.
The writ petition is allowed.
It is open to the authorities to pass a fresh order as per law.
