In compliance of earlier order of this Court dated 1.3.2024, learned Standing Counsel on the basis of instructions received from the DIOS, Balrampur has submitted that the salary shall be paid to the petitioner immediately after receiving the funds from the State Government.

It is further contended that the petitioners were engaged through service provider and several irregularities were found in giving work order to the service providers, so the enquiry was conducted and thereafter the agreement with the service provider has been cancelled on 19.02.2024.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners are Class IV employees and are not getting any salary since October, 2022 i.e. from last about one year and four months.

It is an admitted case as per instructions of the DIOS that the agreement was cancelled on 19.02.2024 meaning thereby the petitioners had worked since October, 2022 till 19.02.2024 and are entitled for the salary.

In view of above, the Respondent No.1 is directed to ensure the payment of salary to the petitioners within a period of three weeks or file his personal affidavit why the same has not bee paid till date.

List this case after the aforesaid period.
