Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Sandeep Sharma, learned standing counsel for the State-respondents.

Present petition has been filed with the following prayers:-

"(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite party no.2 to decide the Departmental Appeals of the petitioner dated 21.9.2024, 4.10.2024 & 4.10.2024."

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in departmental proceedings, petitioner has awarded three punishments and against that he has preferred three separate appeals before the respondent authorities on 21.9.2024 & 4.10.2024, but till date same has not been decided. He next submitted that a suitable direction may be issued to respondent authorities to decide the aforesaid appeals of the petitioner within stipulated time for which learned standing counsel has no objection.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this writ petition is disposed of with direction to respondent no.2 to decide the appeals of the petitioner dated 21.9.2024 & 4.10.2024 strictly in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.

It is made clear that Court has not adjudicated the case on merits and it is upon the respondent no.2 to decide the appeals of the petitioner after considering the relevant Acts, Rules, Government Orders, Judicial pronouncement made by the Court as well as facts of the case.
