The Court has heard learned Standing Counsel and itself has perused the record.
Learned Standing Counsel on the basis of instructions, so received, submits that on the basis of complaint/application moved by the petitioner, Case Nos. T202402030404917, T202402030404918, T202402030404919, T202402030404920, T202402030404921 etc., under Section 67 (1) have been registered against the encroachers.
In view of above, the Court deems it appropriate to issue a direction for expeditious disposal of the aforesaid pending cases.
Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State-respondents submit that the cases registered against the encroachers shall be decided by the respondent concerned within the time frame fixed by this Court.
Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and also taking into consideration the fact that case under Section 67 (1) have been registered against the encroachers, the writ PIL is being disposed of by requiring the Revenue Authorities to proceed to decide the aforesaid cases, in accordance with law within a period of ninety days as prescribed under Section 67 (6) of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006.
