Heard Ms. Smriti, learned counsel for the appellant and Sri Rajiv Kumar Verma, learned A.G.A.-I for the State.

This appeal under Section 14A(2) of The Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 has been filed against the bail rejection order dated 04.06.2024. Earlier an appeal has been filed bearing Criminal Appeal No.1228 of 2022, which was dismissed by a detailed order of this Court, copy of which is annexed as annexure no.2 to the affidavit filed alongwith this appeal. Thus, learned counsel for the appellant submits that notice may be issued to the opposite party no.2 for inviting objections.

Learned A.G.A.-I for the State has accepted notice on behalf of the State Opposite Party No.1.

Let notice be issued to the opposite party no.2 returnable at an early date.

Steps be taken within ten days from today.

Learned A.G.A.-I for the State as well as opposite party no.2 may file counter affidavit within two weeks.

Rejoinder affidavit may also be filed within a week thereafter by learned counsel for the appellant.
