The present application has been filed pleading willful disobedience of the order dated 15.10.2019 passed by this Court in Writ A No.13388 of 2019 whereby this Court had directed to decide the claim of the petitioner/applicant within three months from the date of filing the representation.
Writ Petition No.13388 of 2019 was filed by the petitioner claiming salary for the period July 1997 to June 2008. The order in writ petition was passed on 15.10.2019 and therefore, the present contempt application is barred by time in view of Section 20 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971.
The fact that an order dated 20.12.2023 was passed by this Court in Contempt Application (Civil) No. 684 of 2022 granting the opposite party three months further time to comply with the order passed by the Writ Court does not make the present application maintainable as the application is barred by limitation.
The application is dismissed.
