Heard Mrs. Savita Jain, learned counsel for the applicant and Shri Risabh Kapoor, learned counsel for the respondent.
Shri Rajesh Kumar Chaudhary, Chief Accounts Officer, Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam (Urban), Lucknow has filed an affidavit of compliance as well as application for discharge of the contempt notice which is taken on record.
Learned Counsel for the respondent has submitted that in compliance of the judgment and order dated 25.09.2023 passed in Writ A No. 7133 of 2023 interest has been paid to the applicant in respect of which the present contempt petition has been filed.
Learned Counsel for the applicant has very fairly submitted that in compliance of the judgment and order of the writ Court, claim of the applicant has been duly paid and for all practical purposes, the present contempt petition has become infructuous and the same may be dismissed as infructuous.
As prayed, the present contempt petition is dismissed as infructuous.
Notice issued earlier, if any, stands discharged.
