The present contempt application has been filed for non compliance of the order dated 20.03.2024 passed in Writ-A No.2861 of 2023. The relevant extract of the said judgment is quoted hereinbelow:-

"In view thereof, petitioner is permitted to make a fresh detailed representation to respondent no.4-Chief Conservator of Forest, Van Vardhinik, Southern Area, Kanpur, raising all his grievance within a period of three weeks from today along with a computer generated/certified copy of this order.

In case such a representation is moved by petitioner, respondent no. 4 shall consider and decide the same in accordance with law by a reasoned and speaking order within a period of three months from the date a computer generated/certified copy of this order along with representation is placed before him."

Learned Standing Counsel on the basis of instructions received from the respondent has submitted that in compliance of the judgment and order dated 20.03.2024 passed by the writ court, representation of the petitioner has been decided vide order dated 03.07.2024, copy of which has been enclosed with the compliance affidavit.

It is further submitted that after the compliance of the order dated 20.03.2024 the present contempt petition has become infructuous and is liable to be dismissed.

At this stage, learned counsel for the applicant has prayed that the present contempt application may be dismissed as infructuous with liberty to the applicant that if he has still any grievance, he may challenge the same before the appropriate forum.

As prayed, the present contempt application/petition is dismissed as infructuous.

The notice,if any, issued against the respondent is hereby discharged.

¶14

The applicant is at liberty to challenge. if he has any grievance as may be permissible under the law.
