It is submitted by learned counsel for the applicant that summons in the present case, after submission of charge-sheet, was not served on applicant and the applicant had no knowledge with regard to proceeding, and as such he could not participate in the trial. In this respect necessary averments have been made in para23 of the affidavit filed in support of anticipatory bail application.
Learned A.G.A. prays for and is granted two weeks' time to obtain instructions, as to the date, when summons were served on applicant as issued by the court concerned.
List this case on 9th August 2024.
Till the next date of listing, no coercive action shall be taken against applicant-Thakur Vedpal in pursuance of Case Case No. 974 of 2017 under Sections 420, 406 & 120B IPC, Police StationNai Mandi, District Muzaffar Nagar.
