Heard learned counsel for the applicant, learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the record.

This application under Section 483 Cr.P.C. has been filed to decide the Case No. 557 of 2017 (Vimla Sharma @ Pooja Vs. Rahul Mishra and others), under Sections 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 Domestic Violence Adhiniyam, 2005, Police Station-Kotwali Farrukhabad, District-Farrukhabad pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Court No. 14, Farrukhabad, expeditiously within stipulated time.

Pursuant to the order dated 02.07.2024, a report was sought from the Presiding Officer to send comments for delay in conclusion of the proceedings.

A report dated 25.07.2024 has been received from Additional Civil Judge, Senior Division, Farrukhabad which depicts that the matter was fixed for evidence and the evidence of opposite party No. 2 Vimla Sharma has already been recorded on 12.07.2022 and of witness Shyam Sunder Sharma (P.W.-2) on 19.11.2022.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the report as above, it is expedient to direct the court concerned to make its endeavour to decide the case, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of production of certified copy of this order, without granting any unnecessary or long adjournments to either of the parties, if there is no other legal impediment.

With the aforesaid direction, this application is disposed of.
