Sri Parma Nand Mishra, Advocate, has put in appearance on behalf of the opp. party No. 2 Sadaf Ahmad, which is taken on record.

Let the name of Sri Parma Nand Mishra, Addvocate, he shown in the cause-list as counsel for the respondent, when the case is next listed.

In compliance of the order dated 23.11.2024 the opp. party No. 2 Sadaf Ahmad is present alongwith Ms. Geeta Devi, P.S. Wazirganj, District Lucknow. She has been identified by Sri Parma Nand Mishra, Advocate.

Submission of learned counsel for the applicants is that the matter relates to matrimonial dispute and the applicants have all the intentions to settle the same amicably. Applicants' counsel strenuously urged that this case may be referred to the Mediation Centre of this Court so that the couple may have a chance to settle their dispute on their own terms through mediation.

The opp. party No. 2 Sadaf Ahmad is also ready and willing for mediation.

The Court is also satisfied on the basis of the record and the submissions made before it that the nature of litigation is such that there is a chance to resolve the matter through process of mediation and an attempt ought to be made to explore that possibility.

Accordingly, the matter is being referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre, High Court, Lucknow.

The applicant No. 1 Mohd. Raheel Siddiqui and opp. party No. 2 Sadaf Ahmad shall appear before the Mediation and Conciliation Center on 18.12.2025 and shall submit a certified copy of the this order alongwith the present application and affidavit.

Notices need not be issued to the parties, as this order is being passed in their presence and with their consent.

Amount of Rs. 30,000.00 (Thirty thousand only) shall be deposited by the applicants within 10 days from today before the Mediation and Conciliation Center, out of which Rs. 25000.00 shall be paid to the opp. party No. 2 Sadaf Ahmad on her first appearance before the Mediation Center, and the remaining Rs. 5000.00 shall be remitted to the credit of Mediation Center.

The mediator is allowed 2 months' time to find out possible solution of the dispute between the parties and send his report to the court regarding the outcome of mediation.

Put up this case on 19.02.2025 before appropriate Bench along with report of the Mediator.

In case the settlement is arrived between the parties on the basis of consent, the amount paid to the opp. party No. 2 will be adjusted in the final settlement. In case no settlement takes place, the applicants will not claim the said amount from the opp. party No. 2.

Interim order granted earlier, shall continue till the next date of listing.
