Heard Shri Devendra Mohan Singh, learned counsel for the applicant, Shri Karunakar Singh, learned A.G.A. and perused material on record.

The present application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the applicant with a prayer to issue a direction to the Additional Sessions Judge/Special Judge (Gangster Act), Azamgarh to decide the Session Trial No. 20 of 2014 (State Vs. Dhruv Singh @ Kuntu Singh) arising out of Case Crime No. 348 of 2013, under Sections 148, 302, 120-B, I.P.C. and Section 7 of Criminal Law Amendment Act, Police Station Jiyanpur, District Azamgarh within stipulated period.

Considering the fact that the trial of the aforesaid case is pending since 2014, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this application is finally disposed of with a direction to the Additional Sessions Judge/Special Judge (Gangster Act), Azamgarh to decide the aforesaid case in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, without granting any unnecessary or long adjournments to either of the parties, if there is no other legal impediment.

With the aforesaid directions, the application stands disposed of finally.
