Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. Ishita Sand, learned Advocate holding brief of Ms. Anjali Upadhyay, learned counsel for respondent no. 3.

This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:-

"directing the Principal Judge, Family Court, Gautam Budh Nagar to decide injunction application of the petitioner filed Original Suit No. 962 of 2024, pending before Principal Judge, Family Court, Gautam Budh Nagar expeditiously within within a stipulated time."

It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that an application for grant of temporary injunction is pending in Original Suit No. 962 of 2024 before Principal Judge, Family Court, Gautam Budh Nagar. The sole prayer made in the present petition is for expeditious disposal of the said injunction application.

As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit or issuing notice to private respondents, with a direction upon Principal Judge, Family Court, Gautam Budh Nagar to decide the injunction application filed in Suit No. 962 of 2024, in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.

With the aforesaid direction, present writ petition stands disposed of.

It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the case on merit.
