Heard Shri Shachindra Pratap Singh and Shri Neeraj Kumar Rai, the learned counsel for the petitioner.

By means of the instant writ petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has sought a direction to the learned Special Judge, P.C. Act, Court No.4, Lucknow to expeditiously decide the Rent Appeal No.47 of 2023.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that in compliance of the order dated 09.02.2023 passed by the Rent Authority in Case No.3778 of 2022, possession of the premises was delivered to the petitioner through police force on 13.1.2024. However, concealing this fact, the opposite parties filed an application dated 16.01.2024 seeking stay of operation of the order dated 09.02.2023 passed by the Rent Authority upon which an interim order has been passed by the Appellate Court on the same date.

In view of the aforesaid facts, this petition is disposed of by issuing a direction to the learned Special Judge, P.C. Act, Court No.4, Lucknow to decide Rent Appeal No.47 of 2023 expeditiously, in accordance with law, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to any of the parties.
