It seems that certain irregularities and allegations were levelled with regard to the works undertaken in developing the Amrit Sarovar, Chak Road under MANREGA Scheme in Gram Magiyawan, Post - Kodra Sarai, the said inquiry was conducted by the Block Development Officer, Shahabad, Hardo who had reported that certain works were not undertaken at all, the Geo Tagging was false and despite the aforesaid, the works have been certified by various authorities which have been duly completed and payment was made. It was stated that the government funds have been clearly defalcated and misappropriated considering the fact that on spot inspection, the works were not found to in existence or certain works were of poor quality and it has further been reported that false geo taggings was reported duly falsify the recordings indicating that the work has been done at different locations from where the same was sanctioned. It is on the basis of said inspection report that action was sought to be initiated against the persons who were responsible for the same, for the purpose of which the Dy. Commissioner, Self Employment had written a letter to the Project Development officer to initiate proceedings.
