The present petition has been filed with the following prayer:
"1. issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 Prescribed Authority/S.D.M. Naraini to expedite the hearing and decide the Election Petition No.1357 of 2021 Radhey Shyam. Vs Pradeep Dwivedi and others, within such stipulated time regarding the re- counting of casted votes in election of gram pradhan of Gram Panchayat Baheda Seodha Block Mahuwa Tehsil Naraini, District Banda."
Considering the fact that the election petition is pending before the respondent no.2, the present writ petition is disposed off directing the respondent no.2 to consider and decide the aforesaid Election Petition No.1357 of 2021, in accordance with law, with all expedition preferably within a period of four months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
