Heard Sri Umesh Chandra Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Anand Bhaskar Srivastava, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State respondents and Sri Sushil Kumar Tiwari, learned Advocate, holding brief of Shri Bhupendra Kumar Tripathi, counsel representing the respondent Gram Sabha.

The petitioner stating himself to be the complainant, at whose behest the proceedings are stated to have been initiated, has filed the present petition seeking a direction to the respondent no.2/Tehsildar, Tehsil Machhalishahar, District Jaunpur, to decide the case no. T202114360307341 (Report Lekhpal Vs. Kailash Mauza Jamuhar), which is stated to be pending, expeditiously and within a stipulated time period.

Counsel for the petitioner has referred to the order sheet of the case, a copy whereof has also been annexed with the writ petition to submit that despite several dates having being fixed, the matter is being adjourned for some reason or the other. Accordingly, a prayer for expediting the proceeding is made.

Learned Standing Counsel for the State-Respondents as well as the counsel for the respondent Gram Sabha, has no objection to the prayer made.

Having regard to the aforementioned facts and circumstances and

without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of with an observation that the court concerned would make an endeavor to decide the aforesaid case in accordance with law, expeditiously preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of the instant order, without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties, provided there is no other legal impediment.
