1. The instant petition has been filed praying for a writ of mandamus commanding respondent nos. 1 and 2 to consider the request of the petitioners for exchange of their holding with that of Gaon Sabha. It is submitted that the application in this regard was filed on 09.02.2023 and relevant reports have already been submitted. However, no final decision has been taken in the matter so far.

2. Sri Rameshwar Prasad Shukla, learned Adovocate appearing for Gaon Sabha has no objection in case direction is issued to the competent authority to decide the application.

Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on merit, the petition is disposed of with direction to respondent no. 1 before whom the proceedings are stated to be pending to take decision in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within twelve weeks from the date of communication of the instant order alongwith photocopy of the application.
