The petitioner has filed this petition, seeking the following material relief and no other :
I- Issue a Writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus Commanding and directing the respondents to decide the representation of the petitioner's dated 26.06.2023 and 27.06.2023 in the light of letter dated 15.11.2021, pending before the respondents.
This Court, in exercise of our writ jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution do not sit as a recommendatory forum to recommend one litigant's grievance to another for redressal. If a party is aggrieved and has a cause of action against another, it is always open to seek relief of this Court through a properly framed petition.
Here, there is no substantive relief sought, but only a direction sought to the respondents to decide the petitioner's pending representations dated 26.06.2023 and 27.06.2023.
This kind of a petition for a relief, which reduces this Court to the level of a recommendatory commission, is not maintainable.
This petition is, accordingly, dismissed , with liberty to the petitioner to institute a properly framed petition.
