Supplementary affidavit has been filed today in compliance of the earlier order of this Court giving details of the family of the deceased employee, which is taken on record.
Petitioner is the daughter of the deceased employee and claims for compassionate appointment as her mother died on 6th February, 2023 and claims that her father is unemployed. In the circumstances, according to learned counsel for the petitioner, she is entitled for compassionate appointment.
Learned Standing Counsel does not have any objection to the due consideration being accorded to the interest of the petitioner strictly in accordance with law.
In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with a direction that the authority conserned shall look into and consider the claim of the petitioner as raised in her representation dated 22nd July, 2023 strictly in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
It is hereby provided that in the event petitioner is found entitled to compassionate appointment, the same shall be offered to her within next 30 days' time.
