By means of the present writ petition in the form of Public Interest Litigation, the petitioners seek direction in the nature of mandamus thereby directing the respondent nos.2 to 4 to not permit any political parties /persons to organize their rallies /sammelans /marriage party or other private functions in the premises of Janeshwar Mishra park situated at Gomti Nagar, Lucknow; with a further prayer to direct the respondent no.1 to pass appropriate orders on the issue.
From a perusal of the prayer made in the instant petition, we find that the instant writ petition has become infructuous due to efflux of time.
Accordingly, the instant writ petition is dismissed as infructuous .
Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
