The petitioner, aggrieved by the fact that plot no.1387/1 and 1388 situate in village Dakor, Tehsil Orai, District Jalaun were being encroached upon by the private opposite party, has filed the instant Public Interest Litigation.
Learned Standing Counsel states that the petitioner has an efficacious alternative remedy of filing an application under section 67 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006.
Under such circumstances, without going into the merits of the case, it is being directed that in the event the petitioner files an application under section 67 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 along with a certified copy of this order before the authority concerned within a period of 15 days from today, the same shall be decided within a period of 90 days thereafter, if there is no other legal impediment.
The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
