The present appeal under Section 374 (2) Cr.P.C has been preferred by the appellant against the judgment and order dated 2.9.1987 passed by Sessions Judge, Lalitpur in S.T. No.22 of 1987.
As per the office report dated 20.3.2023, a report of C.J.M., Lalitpur dated 7.3.2022 has been received stating therein that the sole appellant Ram Dayal has died around 6 years back. The said report has been sent after due inquiry.
This Court has perused the said report which states that the accused-appellant has died around 6 years back.
In view of the above, the appeal stands abated.
