Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the material on record.
Instant Criminal Misc. Application under Section 483 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the applicant who is complainant in case No.16948 of 2021 Dushyant Vs. Satish under Section 138 N.I. Act, P.S.- Medical, District- Meerut, pending the Court of Judicial Magistrate Court No. 2, District- Meerut, with prayer to issue direction to decide the case expeditiously and within a stipulated period as fixed by this Court.
Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that a certified copy of order-sheet of the case is filed along with present application which reveals that the case was filed on 23.03.2021, summoning order was passed on 15.09.2021 and a statement charge of the accused has been recorded on 22.04.2022 and presently, the case is fixed for crossexamination of the complainant.
The court concerned is directed to proceed with the case and make every efforts to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary or long adjournments to either of the parties, preferably within a period of 6 months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, if there is no legal impediment.
Accordingly, the application stands disposed of.
