Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A. for the respondent.

By means of this application under Section 482 Cr.P.c. the applicant is seeking a direction to the Additional Sessions Judge, Court No. 1, Maharajganj to expedite the hearing of Session Trial No. 24 of 2006 (State Vs. Satish Sahi and others) Case Crime No. 279 of 2005, under Sections 147, 148, 149, 302 I.P.C. and 27/30 Arms Act, Police Station Paniyara, District Maharajganj, in a time bound manner.

It is stated by the learned counsel for the applicant that the trial is pending before the lower court since 2006.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the applicant's case, this application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is finally disposed of with a direction to the Additional Sessions Judge, Court No. 1, Maharajganj to decide the aforesaid case in accordance with law without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one year from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if there is no legal impediment.
