The petitioner has preferred this writ petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India to issue an order or direction the the trial court to expedite and decide the Case No. 5963 of 2009 (State vs. Vikas Kumar Maurya), pending in the court of Special Chief Judicial Magistrate, Allahabad since 2009.

In view of the proposed order, there is no need to issue a notice to the private respondent.

With the consent of learned Standing Counsel, the matter is being finally disposed of at this stage in terms of the Rules of the Court.

¶9

Having due regard to the fact of the case that matter is pending for a considerable long time, there appears inordinate delay in deciding the same. Hence, in my view, the ends of justice require that the same may be decided expeditiously, preferably within a period of one year from the date of production of certified copy of this order in accordance with law, if there is no legal impediment.

The writ petition is finally disposed of.
