Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Standing Counsel for respondent nos. 1, 2 and 3 and Shri Krishna Kant Singh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent no.4.
In view of the order proposed to be passed, notices need not issue to the respondent no.5.
The petitioners have preferred the present petition inter-alia with the prayer to issue a mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to consider and decide the Revision No.56 of 2007 (Ompal and others vs. Gaon Sabha and others) in u/s 157AA U.P.Z.A. & L.R. Act, within stipulated period.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the issue, the present petition stands disposed of finally with a direction to the respondent no. 2 to consider and decide the aforesaid case in accordance with law expeditiously and preferably within a period of four months from the date of production of copy of this order but certainly after giving opportunity to the parties concerned and without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties, if there is no legal impediment.
