ORDER
Prayer made in the present petition is for direction to the respondents to pay compensation with reference to land owned by the petitioners.
It is not in dispute that there is a writ petition bearing Writ-C No. 6013 of 2021 (Rampal Singh and another Vs. State of U.P. and others) pending in this Court with reference to the proceedings involving the issue of title of the petitioners over property in question and in the aforesaid writ petition, vide order dated June 28, 2021 status quo with regard to nature and possession of the land has been directed to be maintained.
In our considered view, once the title of the petitioners on the land in question is not clear, there cannot be any direction for payment of compensation to them.

The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
