Supplementary affidavit filed today is taken on record.
It is argued by counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is a landless ex-army man hence he is entitled for allotment of land under the scheme. In this regard petitioner has submitted a representation before the respondent no.2 namely District Collector, Jaunpur, District Jaunpur on 11.05.2022, copy of which is appended as annexure 1 to the supplementary affidavit.
It is argued by counsel for the petitioner that though on the said representation directions were given by the respondent no.2 to the S.D.M. Ketakat to do the needful in the matter but though a considerable time has already been lapsed but till date no action has been taken by the S.D.M., Ketakat hence present writ petition.
Heard learned counsel for the parties.
With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the writ petition is being disposed of at the admission stage itself.
In the facts and circumstances, writ petition is disposed of finally directing the S.D.M., Ketakat to do the needful in the matter in accordance with law most expeditiously and preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
