The petitioner seeks to espouse the cause of Gram Panchayat Mithwal Bujurg (Kala) by questioning the order dated 03.06.2022 by which the development work to be carried out under Amrit Sarovar scheme has been divided between Gram Panchayat and Zila Panchayat to the extent that mud work is to be carried out by Gram Panchayat whereas the Puckka constructions are to be carried by Zila Panchayat.
The case of the petitioner is that under the scheme, the entire work should be delegated to the Gram Panchayat.
Be that as it may, we do not find that there is any disservice to the public if the work is divided and completed effectively.
The Public Interest Litigation is therefore misconceived and is, accordingly, dismissed.
