The applicant alleges violation of order of Writ Court dated 29.09.2015 in Writ-A No.5422 of 2013 by which Writ Court has directed the opposite party to consider the case of the applicant within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
The Stamp Reporter has reported the delay of 1667 days in filing the contempt application. As per Section 20 of Contempt of Courts Act, limitation for filing contempt application is one year from the date on which contempt is alleged to have been committed.
One year period has expired from the date on which contempt is alleged to have been committed by the opposite party, therefore, the present contempt application is dismissed in view of Section 20 of Contempt of Courts Act and is consigned to record.
