Learned counsel for the applicant submits that as per gang chart three cases have been shown against the applicant out of which in case crime no.535 of 2015, under Sections 147, 148, 149, 302, 120-B I.P.C., he has been acquitted and in other two cases has been granted bail which have been explained in paras 9, 11 & 12 of the affidavit filed in support of bail application. He further submits that apart from the cases mentioned in the gang chart, twenty five more cases are registered against the applicant out of which in case crime no.195 of 1991 he has been convicted for life imprisonment against which appeal no.5065 of 2017 is pending, which have been explained in para 13 of the affidavit. There is no possibility of the applicant of fleeing away from the judicial process or tampering with the witnesses and, in case, the applicant is enlarged on bail, the applicant shall not misuse the liberty of bail. It is next contended that the applicant is languishing in jail since 27.01.2017 and more than half of the sentence has been passed in detention and trial is still pending.
