Sandeep Kumar Tripathi, learned counsel for the applicant after arguing for sometime on instructions submits that he is not pressing the prayers made in this application for quashing the entire criminal proceedings/charge sheet dated 31.5.2020 of Criminal Case No.254 of 2020, (State Vs. Satveer Singh and others) in Case Crime No.0228 of 2020 pending in the Court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Court No.2 Rampur under Sections 353, 323, 504 and 506 I.P.C. Police Station-Shahbad, District-Rampur as well as Cognizance Order dated 29.7.2020 and prayed that the applicant is desirous to appear before the trial court within a period of two weeks, file bail application and in case the bail application is filed, the same may be decided expeditiously in view of the judgment of Supreme Court in Satender Kumar Antil vs. Central Bureau of Investigation and another, (2021) 10 SCC 773.
In view of the above, prayers made in this application are rejected.
Application is disposed of with the direction that in the event applicant honours his undertaking and files appropriate bail application, Trial Court will undertake all endeavour to decide the same expeditiously in accordance with law considering the judgment passed by Supreme Court in Satender Kumar Antil vs. Central Bureau of Investigation and another, (2021) 10 SCC 773.
