Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Present petition has been filed with following prayer:-

"(i). Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No. 1 to expedite the Case No. 1324 of 2017 (Pooja Gupta v. Vishnu Prasad, within stipulated period."

Learned counsel for petitioner submitted that matrimonial case of petitioner is pending since 2017 and Section 21-B of Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 provides maximum six months for disposal of the case, therefore, a direction may be issued to the court below to decide the case at the earliest.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is finally disposed of with direction to the respondent No. 1 to expedite the hearing of the aforesaid case and decide the same, in accordance with law, expeditiously, maximum within a period of six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order as provided in Section 21-B of Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 after providing opportunity of hearing to all concerned and without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. In case adjournment is granted, Court shall record the reason for the same.
