The present petition has been filed by the petitioner praying for a direction directing the Civil Judge (Junior Division), Shahganj, District Jaunpur to decide Suit No.1252 of 2019 (Ram Bali versus Mahendra and others) .
The suit was instituted in 2019 and it is common knowledge that from 2020 till date, the Civil Courts have not been functioning in their full capacity because of frequent closures due to Corona Epidemic. The order sheet of the case annexed with the petition does not disclose any laxity on the part of the trial court causing any delay in the disposal of the suit. In the circumstances, there is no occasion to issue any direction as prayed by the petitioner.
The petition is dismissed.
