Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the State counsel.

It appears that for redressal of his grievances certain application has been preferred by the petitioner to the Commissioner, Lucknow division, Lucknow. On the said application, it appears that the Additional Commissioner, Lucknow division, Lucknow has written a letter on 4th of August, 2022 to the District Magistrate/Commissioner of Police, Lucknow for conducting an inquiry and taking appropriate steps so that property of the petitioner may be saved from being encroached upon by unscrupulous elements in the society.

Having regard to the aforesaid facts, this writ petition is finally disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate as also to the Police Commissioner, Lucknow to act upon the letter dated 4th of August, 2022 written to them by the Additional Commissioner, Lucknow division, Lucknow which is annexed as Annexure -1 to the writ petition. The authorities concerned, shall thus take appropriate action which may be warranted under law, with expedition.
