This petition has been filed in public interest with the prayer seeking a direction to the authorities concerned to develop "Amrit Sarowar" over the land comprised in khasara plot No. 686 admeasuring 0.5770 hectare situate in village Katehati, Pargana Jagdishpur, Tehsil Musafirkhana, District Amethi in accordance with the norms and the standards which is provided in the Circular dated 27-04-2022 issued by the Government.
We have been informed that the scheme of "Amrit Sarowar" is being coordinated at the district level by the District Magistrate.
Accordingly, having regard to the nature of prayer made in this petition, we dispose of this petition with liberty to the petitioners to approach the District Magistrate by way of making an appropriate application/representation taking all the pleas which may be available to them under law and annexing therewith all documents on which they intend to rely, within 10 days from today. In case any such application is made, the same shall be considered and appropriate action/decision which may warrant under law shall be taken by the appropriate authority, with expedition.
