Petitioner by way of present petition seeks the following relief:

"i. to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the District Magistrate, Allahabad respondent No.1 to pass appropriate order on the representation of the petitioner dated 20.1.2021 expeditiously if possible within one month (Annexure No.1 to this writ petition).

ii. to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no.2 to pay compensation to petitioner as per form-2 within stipulated period regarding Khasra No. 459 area 0.1300 hectare situated in village Dighiya Khairagarh, Tehsil Meja, District Prayagraj and tree standing over the land of petitioner".

However, we are not commended to any cogent material to substantiate claim of the petitioner that the land of the petitioner is being acquired/utilized for the purpose of road over-bridge.

When faced with such situation, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the petition.

Prayer allowed.

¶11

The petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.

¶12

Needless to say, in case of accrual of fresh cause of action, the petitioner always is at liberty to seek redressal in accordance with law.
