The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition with the prayer to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent No.2 i.e. Tehsildar, Tehsil-Harraiya, District-Basti to decide the Mutation Application dated 03.07.2020 in Mutation Case No. 03722 of 2020 (Smt. Maya Devi Vs. Dinesh Singh) under Section 34 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 within time bound period.
It has been stated that a mutation case under Section 34 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 filed by the petitioner in the year 2020 has not been decided finally till date.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the issue and with the consent of the parties, the present petition stands disposed of finally with a direction to the respondent No.2 i.e. Tehsildar, Tehsil-Harraiya, District-Basti to consider and decide the aforesaid case in accordance with law expeditiously and preferably within a period of two months from the date of submission of self attested computer generated copy of this order downloaded from the official website of High Court Allahabad but certainly after giving opportunity to the parties concerned and without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties, if there is no legal impediment.
