Heard learned counsel for the petitioners; learned Standing Counsel for respondents 1 to 7; and perused the record.

The writ petition seeks a direction upon the respondents to consider and decide the representation of the petitioners and also command the respondents to save the life and property of the petitioners from the private respondents and their associates.

In the entire petition, the petitioners have not described the property in respect of which protection is sought. Therefore, we queried the learned counsel for the petitioners to demonstrate as to which property of the petitioners is to be protected.

To the aforesaid query, the learned counsel for the petitioners submits that it is the Gaon Sabha land adjoining the petitioners' house.

If that is so, then the prayer made in this petition to protect the property of the petitioners is misconceived.

¶10

In view of the above, this writ petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioners to file fresh petition with proper prayer and proper pleadings.
