Heard learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Standing Counsel for the respondents 1 to 3; and perused the record.
The prayer in this petition is to command the respondents to decide the application of the petitioner seeking conversion of Nazul plot into freehold.
On 16th July, 2021, learned Standing Counsel was required to seek instruction whether the petitioner's application for conversion of Nazul plot into freehold has been decided or not.
Pursuant to our order dated 16th July, 2021, learned Standing Counsel, on instruction, states that application of the petitioner for converting the said land into freehold has been rejected on 13th December, 2020.
In view of the above, we dispose of this petition by leaving it open to the petitioner to file a fresh petition by challenging the order rejecting his application.
