Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Ashutosh Pandey counsel for the Caveator, Sri Bhupendra Kumar Tripathi counsel for the Gaon Sabha and the learned Standing Counsel. Certain land was exchanged with pasture land on 26.5.1996. This exchange was thereafter undone in the year 2015. The petitioner has prayed that the officials who were involved in the exchange be punished.
Much water has flown since 1996 and today entering into any enquiry by this Court, in my opinion, would be a wastage of time.
Under such circumstances, no interference is warranted. The writ petition is dismissed.
