Heard Mr. Udai Shankar Chauhan, learned counsel for petitioner, Mr. Sunil Kumar Singh, learned counsel appearing for respondent no. 3 and learned Standing counsel for the State respondent.

The present writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed for direction to competent authority i.e. respondent no. 2- District Magistrate, Ghazipur, to decide the application/complaint dated 19.8.2020 of the petitioner within the stipulated period of time.

It is submitted by learned counsel for petitioner that the petitioner filed an application/complaint before respondent no. 2-District Magistrate, Ghazipur, with regard to initiate an enquiry of embezzlement of public fund allotted to the village Panchayat for the implementation of MNREGA Scheme. However, the said application is still pending till date.

Learned Standing Counsel submits that no useful purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition pending and an appropriate direction may be issued to respondent no. 2 to consider the grievance of the petitioner.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merit of the case and with the consent of the parties, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no. 2- District Magistrate, Ghazipur, to decide the application/complaint dated 19.8.2020 of the petitioner by reasoned and speaking order, within a period of three months from the date of production of computerized copy of this order.

The concerned Court/Authority/Official shall verify the authenticity of such computerized copy of the order from the official website of High Court Allahabad and shall act accordingly without waiting for submission of the certified copy of this order.

The writ petition is disposed of.
