The prayer made in the present writ petition is for a direction to the respondents to pay compensation to the petitioner in terms of the award dated May 10, 2016 along with interest.
Learned counsel for the State submitted that amount of compensation to the tune of ₹ 6,67,076/- vide cheque no. 117559 dated May 6, 2019, was paid to the petitioner.
Considering the aforesaid fact, prima facie, nothing survives in the present writ petition. The same is accordingly dismissed.
