Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents and perused the record.
The petitioner seeks direction upon the Arbitrator/Commissioner, Kanpur Nagar, to expedite the Case No. 00547/2020 computerized Case No. C202003000000547, Maya Devi vs. Shaccham Pradhikari and others, under Section 3G (5) of National Highway Act, 1956, and decide it within stipulated period.
Considering that the Covid-19 Pandemic is not over, we decline the prayer to issue specific direction. However, it is expected that the Commissioner, Kanpur Nagar, who is acting as Arbitrator, shall bring the proceeding to its logical conclusion, in accordance with law, expeditiously.
With the above observations, the petition is disposed off .
