The written instruction supplied by the District Supply Officer, Agra to the learned Chief Standing Counsel indicates that the cheque has been released by the competent authority and payment towards promotional pay scale and A.C.P. arrears had been transmitted to the accounts of the petitioner.
Learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute the said fact.
In view of the above, the cause of action for filing of the present writ petition no more survives.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous .
